The Garden Arbor is a big
project. But it's designed to be built and assembled in small sections. You can
build each section in your shop and then carry it out to the yard to be
assembled. The arbor is 91-3/4" high x 75" wide x 47" deep.
The arbor in the photograph was built from
redwood. But there are several other good woods you can use including cedar,
white oak, and Douglas fir.
The Garden Arbor plan includes a
nine-page step-by-step booklet and four 18" x 24" sheets of
shop drawings. You also get a pre-printed shopping list you can
take to your local lumber yard or home center. The list includes all the wood,
supplies, and tools you'll need to build this arbor.
